This limestone paperweight is highly detailed. It depicts a lizard resting on a vine leaf. The leaf’s veining is reproduced to perfection by calcite crystallization. A very delicate fly can be seen in front of the lizard.
This decorative object is particularly original thanks to a unique manufacturing process: encrustation on mould.
